We're Pregnant!

We're pregnant! It's official! I've waited the appropriate time and now it's safe to tell everyone that we are finally pregnant! All of that practicing finally paid off! I'm almost 10 weeks along. The baby will be due August 13th!
I have been dealing with all of the fun symptoms of pregnancy, morning sickness, exhaustion, dizziness, and hunger! Why do they call it Morning sickness when I feel it all day and night? Luckily my dr. told me to take Unisom and my prenatals at night. That seems to be working for me. Although whenever I do feel sick I just say a quick prayer of thanks that everything is ok. When I feel sick it makes me realize that my baby is doing great!
We have so many nicknames for our little one. Mark and his friends from school named it 'Maverick Danger' and unfortunately that name has stuck with his family as well. My family calls it 'the little zygote'. I call it my 'Twilight Baby' because when I get hungry I feel like it's eating me alive!

Girl's Night Out!

On Dec. 15th I will be hosting a 'Girl's Night Out' Designer Jean Party in Utah at Salon Hope, from 6-9 p.m. Located at 863 E. 12300 S. It will be so much fun! There will be Jeans, Jewelry, Accessories, and Salon Hope coupons and drawings. A light refreshment will be served. I'm also introducing my new design 'Skinny Me Jeans'! It's a body sculpting band that is sewn into your favorite jeans to minimize love handles and hide your underwear when you bend over! Just bring in your favorite pair/pairs of jeans and try on a few different sizes of bands and I will sew it in a deliver them back to you within 3 days! My Holiday Schedule!

I will be out of town for Thanksgiving Nov. 21st-Nov. 30th. I will be taking my last appointments Thursday, Nov. 20th, and resuming appointments Monday, Dec. 1st.

I will be out of town for Christmas Dec. 15th-Jan. 6th. I will be taking my last appointments Saturday, Dec. 13th, and resuming appointments Wednesday, Jan. 7th.

I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone. I wanted to give everyone a heads up so that you can have time to book your appointments around your crazy Holiday schedule.

I would also like to give you a heads up for a price change that will be taking effect Dec. 1st. I am charging an extra $10 for extra hot iron styling after getting a haircut or color. For example: If you get a color or cut and would like loose waves styled into your regular style or straightened hair if you have curly hair, it will cost an extra $10. If you want just a regular style, it is still the same price which is fixed in with the service.

About Great Lengths
Great Lengths Hair Extensions are the best hair extensions money can buy! The bonds are made of Keratin protein (the same protein your hair is made of) and actually mimics hair structure when it is applied to your hair. To make it a little clearer, your hair is like a sponge. When it gets wet, it expands, and when it dries in contracts. The Great lengths bond is made to do the same thing! That means that it will move with your hair, not causing any unneeded stress or breakage. It is an extension that when applied by minimal heat thinks that it is hair! Once the extension is applied to strands of your own hair, you can style, color, and bleach your extensions just like you would with your own hair. The bonds are the exact same color as your hair, and 1/6th of the size of other bonds. That means they are virtually invisible. The extensions feel as if you have little knots just at the roots of your hair. They blend seamlessly with your own hair after they have been applied and cut to the style of your choice. Great Lengths extensions last up to 8 months. It is my personal preference to have them in for only 5 or 6 months due to the amount of regrowth you have. The price of the extensions is determined during a consultation.

Consultations

Consultations are complimentary. During your consultations, I will measure your head and discuss your desired results. We will also match your hair color to extension samples to determine your perfect shade. We will then discuss the price. If you are on a budget, we can figure out the best possible price with the desired style you want to achieve.

Price

Hair Extensions are priced by the lengths of hair and the quantity of bundles needed. In most lengthening services I have done, it has been required to use 3-5 bundles. In thickening and volumizing services, it is required to use 1-3 bundles.
